Take the A92 and A3 motorways, exiting at the Deggendorf junction, typically a straightforward, traffic-light route. The most direct way to reach Cubea is via Rechenstrasse to Berggasse.

Park free of charge under your own covered carport, fitted with a glass photovoltaic roof. Electric car? There’s a wall box at your carport, powered by the on-site photovoltaic system.

Winter driving: winter tyres and appropriate winter equipment are essential.

The nearest airports are in Munich (145km away, approx. 1 hour 30 min. by car), Nuremberg (183km away, approx. 2 hours 15 min. by car), and Linz (186km away, approx. 2 hours 15 min. by car). Let us know by the day before your arrival and we’ll arrange pick-up.

The Waldbahn railway runs to Bodenmais via the Plattling interchange. We’ll be happy to pick you up free of charge in our Porsche Macan Electric. We also collect from Regen train station. Please let us know at least 1 day before your arrival.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3 p.m. If your apartment is ready for you before that time, we’ll be happy to let you access it earlier.
We kindly ask you to check out by 11 a.m.

What happens on arrival?

We’ll welcome you in person and show you to your apartment. A rough idea of your arrival time helps us prepare, but it’s not essential.

How long is the minimum stay?

Usually 3 nights; 5 nights at Christmas and New Year. Because a proper reset doesn’t happen overnight.
Your calendar doesn’t allow such a long stay? Upon request, we also accept shorter stays – according to availability. Simply send us an e-mail.

Who is Cubea for?

Each of the 4 chalet apartments is designed to accommodate up to 2 adults. Your apartment, including the terrace and private stainless-steel infinity pool or design lounge pool, is available for your exclusive use. Cubea is for adults only – no children or pets.

Is smoking allowed in the apartments?

No, all indoor areas are non-smoking.

What is the Bodenmais guest card?

As a Cubea guest, you will receive the Bodenmais guest card, which includes a GUTi ticket for free travel on local buses and trains. The guest card includes a wide range of complimentary services as well as discounts at selected attractions. Also included in your stay: the aktivCARD, which offers free or discounted admission to numerous leisure facilities in the Bavarian Forest.

What is the visitor tax?

The visitor tax is €3.60 per person per night and is not included in the accommodation rate. It is a legal requirement and goes towards maintaining local tourism infrastructure.

Is there a concierge service?

Yes. The team handles your restaurant bookings, organises your excursions, and drives you to your chosen destination in the surrounding area emission-free in our Porsche Macan Electric – whether it’s a ski area, hiking trailhead, cross-country ski centre, or restaurant. Discreet, reliable, free of charge. Use it as much or as little as you like.

Wellness and pool

What pools are available?

The two apartments Wald 1 and Turm 1 each feature a design lounge pool by the Italian brand Treesse, each approximately 2m in diameter and with a perimeter overflow channel. At the Wald 2 and Turm 2 apartments, you’ll find a stainless-steel infinity pool (approx. 5x3m) with a bench and massage jets, heated all year round and featuring a perimeter infinity overflow channel, professional hygiene and filtration systems, and an electric underfloor roller cover, including heat retention via slatted solar technology.
Every pool is entirely priate. No communal areas, no shared zones – your privacy begins at your door.

Are there any communal wellness areas?

No, and that’s deliberate. You will have exclusive use of your private stainless-steel infinity pool or design lounge pool, as well as the sauna in your apartment. Cubea has no communal wellness area, no lobby, and no shared breakfast room. Everything you book is all yours.

Prices and booking

How much does a stay at Cubea cost?

Depending on the apartment, prices start at €790.00 or €890.00 per night for up to 2 people. This includes all Cubea inclusive services. In addition, a visitor’s tax of €3.60 per person per night is charged.

How do I book?

What deposit is required?

A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking.

What payment methods are accepted?

Bank transfers as well as debit and credit cards from all major providers.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival; for Christmas and New Year, up to 8 weeks before arrival. After that, 80% of the total booking value will be charged. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
